I've decided to dust off the ol' tablet and become reacquainted with photoshop's drawing tools.

The scene is from "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality," which is a fan-fiction featuring a rationalist!Harry... I won't spoil what exactly is happening in this chapter (It's from The Stanford Prison Experiment, Part Two). You can read the book here: [link]

The storm is quite a bit less intense in my drawing than it should be... I might try to do this scene again if I feel my skills have improved.

The storm may not be as intense yet, but it has the necessary sense of ominousness and foreboding to it. Nice job.

The water looks too calm for it to be storming, but as another person said, I like the heavy oppressive atmosphere it instead shows

Ooh, I really like the texture to the whole thing. You're right, the storm doesn't look very intense, but it looks pretty oppressive and I think that works even better here
